May 2012 edit: I re-did some of the lineart and change up the colours. I was never really satisfied with the original (it's still on my tumblr for archival purposes: [link]

Link entering the very first silent realm.

When I first entered this place, it was all ethereal and glowy and I was like "woaaah coool...", But of course I had no idea about the horror and frustration awaiting me in that vile place D: (although I found Silent Realms to be way less scary once you are caught for the first time....but they were still always bloody stressful).

Hm... I'm stuck on whether I like the one on tumblr or this one more. There's some elements of the old one that I really like. Particularly, I actually like the grey lineart from before. I think removing the hand is definitely a big point in favour of the new version, though. It's beautiful either way!

I appreciate your input! I wasn't too sure about the new lineart either, but I made it lighter due to the "green" ness that I added to it. Grey would have ended up blending in too much, haha

I knowsies, right? Pre-game release, I had established an elaborate and logical theory that the Silent Realm as a place of spiritual growth involved more insight into Link's character development where we would witness him understand and accept his past, future, hate, love, and mature from a mere boy to a strong, young man.
Instead: Grab these sparkly doodads while not dying a heart attack, lols.
